The DELE level A1 diploma accredits a sufficient mastery of the Spanish language to:
- understand and use everyday expressions common to all Spanish-speaking areas to meet immediate needs;
- request and give basic personal information about oneself and one’s daily life;
- interact very simply with Spanish speakers, providing the latter speak slowly and clearly and are willing to cooperate.
