DELE level A1 exams

The DELE level A1 diploma accredits a sufficient mastery of the Spanish language to:

  • understand and use everyday expressions common to all Spanish-speaking areas to meet immediate needs;
  • request and give basic personal information about oneself and one’s daily life;
  • interact very simply with Spanish speakers, providing the latter speak slowly and clearly and are willing to cooperate.

The structure of the general DELE level A1 exam (2020 version) is as follows (tests listed in the sequence in which they are administered).
