The DELE level B1 Spanish as a foreign language diploma accredits the holder’s ability to:
- understand the essence of oral and written texts in standardised and not overly localised variations of the language, providing they refer to familiar work-, school- or everyday life-related subjects;
- effectively handle most situations and contexts in those areas; and
- produce simple and coherent texts on familiar topics or matters of personal interest, such as experiences, events, desires, plans, aspirations or opinions.
